CA 奖英文名 Communication Arts ，中文名美国传达艺术奖，是全球视觉设计领域首屈一指的奖项。由《Communication Arts》杂志在 1959 年创办，涵盖了设计（Design）、广告（Advertising）、摄影（Photography）、插画（illustration）、互动（Interactive）以及版式设计（Typography）六大版块，每个版块都分别设置了卓越奖（Award of Excellence）和入围奖（Short List）两大奖项等级，其中卓越奖是每个视觉创意人梦寐以求的业界最高荣誉。
CA 奖举办的这 60 年来，为视觉创意行业输送了大量优秀作品。作为一个不以营利为目的的奖项，几乎不做宣传的 CA 奖，却以其极强的专业性为人所知，每年都会吸引来自奥美（Ogilvy）、李奥贝纳（Leo Burnett）、阳狮（Publicis）、天联（BBDO）等诸多全球知名广告公司的积极参与。
就在前不久，CA 奖下的插画奖（ca 2020 illustration competition）版块揭晓了本年度的获奖名单。
最初，大赛征集了来自于广告、书籍、刊物、营销、机构协会、影视动画、个人，以及还未出版的和学生创作的插画作品共计 3863 份。
面对海量的征集作品，素来以高质量和专业性著称的 CA 插画奖，这次依然请来了教科书级别的专业评审团。今年的 CA 插画奖评审团由来自全球顶尖设计学院罗德岛设计学院的插画系主任 Robert Brinkerhoff、世界顶尖出版集团企鹅兰登的高级设计师 Nora Grosse、日本殿堂级插画师木内达郎（Tatsuro Kiuchi）等 10 位知名设计师组成。
评审团
经过评审团的入围评选和决赛评审，最终共有 125 组作品脱颖而出，被推选为本届 CA 插画奖的 Award of Excellence（卓越奖）作品。这些获奖作品被收录至最新一期的《Communication Arts Illustration Annual 61》年鉴中，并在全球范围内发行。
